Founder Message

Since 2000, IHF has successfully developed Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter Model as a solution to improve the quality of Indonesia's human resources to face future challenges. During the 20 years, the implementation of PHBK in Sekolah Karakter (from kindergarten to high school) and various other schools (in Early Childhood Education/Kindergarten/IGRA/Elementary School/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Semai Benih Bangsa) throughout Indonesia has proven successful in forming students with strong character and high-order thinking skills (HOTS). With these facts, IHF is committed to expanding the reach of the PHBK education model by establishing STPHBK as a solution to prepare Indonesia for the era of Society 5.0, which emphasizes a human-centered approach to technology in the context of Industry 4.0.

  • Organizing education and teaching to produce professionals in the fields of education, parenting, and human resource development to thrive in an era of intense competition and rapid change through the Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter (PHBK) model. Thus, becoming true learners, beneficial, open-minded, and mastering life skills.

  • Organizing innovative and creative research programs, especially those related to building individuals with character and high-order thinking skills such as creativity, critical thinking, analytical, reflective, divergent, and solution-oriented.

  • Organizing community service programs that can provide added value to the environment.

  • Establishing mutually beneficial collaborations with educational institutions, government agencies, and social organizations.


  • To produce educators who are professional and have a broad perspective to organize activities that stimulate the holistic development of children, involving physical-motor development, social-emotional development, cognitive abilities, and moral character to create a generation that is characterized by intelligence and creativity.

  • To continuously produce educators with character, intelligence, and creativity, who are determined to self-develop and be true learners, thus being able to apply their knowledge to society to enhance the quality of child education in their environment.

  • To generate creative and innovative research works in order to realize findings in the field of education and the application of science and technology (IPTEK), related to building individuals with character and high-level thinking.

  • To establish good cooperation with the community, government, and the private sector through the implementation of the University's Tri Dharma activities.
